The administration of US President Joseph Biden wants to ban shale gas production, which would quadruple global gas prices and also raise the price of oil to $80 per barrel.

“The American administration plans to ban the lease of federal lands for the extraction of coal, oil and gas. There are also rumors about a ban on fracking technology (destruction of rocks in the process of extracting gas from the ground - approx. edit).
What does this mean for us? According to the forecast of the investment bank Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co, if fracking technology is banned, gas prices will quadruple, and the price of oil will rise to $80 per barrel,” Naumov said.
