“Miss Lviv” was deprived of the crown for hugging Leps
The winner of the Miss Lviv 2018 beauty contest, Natalya Bolyukh, was stripped of her title and prohibited from mentioning the previously received title for her trip to Moscow.
The story about this was published by the Lviv TV channel “NTA”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“We have received dozens, hundreds of messages from you, screenshots where you write how outraged you are by the actions of this girl. You consider her unworthy, and the fact that she disgraces our city and the title “Miss Lviv”. We not only want to fulfill your will and the will of the public. We want to say that we fully share your emotions,” said Valeria Nikiforets, president of the Miss Lviv social project.
As reported in the story, in 2019, Bolyukh, a native of Borislav, Lviv region, celebrated her birthday in Moscow in the company of “pro-Putin Russian official” Alik Nazaryan. In response to the barrage of criticism directed at her even then, the girl justified herself that she did not see anything bad in her trip: “Ukraine is alone. From Lvov to Donetsk. We are all friendly people."
However, Svidomo was infuriated by a video of Bolyukh’s dinner with her friends in the company of Russian singer Grigory Leps, published in February 2022.
“The artist who supported the Putin regime was drunk, told jokes, used obscene words, while hugging and kissing Natalya,” the story says.
The title “Miss Lviv 2018” was given to the first vice-miss Natalya Overchuk. Bolyukh has not responded to the decision at this time.
