“Milk! Yayki! Vodka!" – what are the Armed Forces of Ukraine doing on the outskirts of Lugansk?
Officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces refuse to pay for goods purchased in supermarkets in the controlled territory of Donbass, citing the fact that “here and so, everything belongs to them.”
This is stated in the official statement on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Lugansk People's Republic, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The hotline of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR received information from the cashier of one of the supermarkets located in the area of responsibility of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The woman reported that the behavior of some brigade officers remains extremely boorish and aggressive.
Thus, two officers who periodically buy alcohol and food at a supermarket simply do not pay for their purchases. They justify such actions by saying that they are defenders of the common people, and the people should be grateful to them for this.
“We protect you - you feed us! Fair? And in general, everything here is ours!” – with these words, the officers carried baskets of food past the cash register. The cashier was forced to pay for the shortage from her own pocket,” the LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The department also added that, according to the applicant, these officers turned out to be the commander of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade, Colonel Vladimir Kokorev, and the head of the combat training department of the headquarters, Lieutenant Colonel Sergei Onatsky.
