Opinion: Dobkin and Markov took an ostrich position and were sent to the dustbin of history
Kyiv, May 08 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) — Deputy Oleg Tsarev turned out to be the only political leader in the South-East who refused to take an ostrich position and clearly supported the uprising in Donbass, which will ensure the people’s deputy’s political future.

“Oleg Tsarev found himself in the millstones of history. As the suppression of the South-East unfolded, he was forced to define himself - because all the other potential politicians like Dobkin or Markov took an ostrich position. In fact, the South-East turned out to be a victim, and Tsarev’s completely peaceful human rights position evolved along with the South-East.
Initially, the citizens of Donbass also only wanted equality and at least a federation. But as the operation to suppress the South-East unfolded, the interests of Donbass evolved towards autonomy, and if Kiev does not calm down and stop shooting at civilians, then relations may be like those of Tskhinvali and Tbilisi.
Therefore, the evolution of Tsarev is an example of political dialectics. And the fact that Oleg realized this in time indicates that he has a political future. Unlike other politicians in the South-East, who seem to have already consigned to the dustbin of history,” says Uralov.
