Kyiv, May 26 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The results of the elections in Ukraine indicate that 80% of voters supported candidates who promised to return Crimea to the control of Kyiv, even by force. Thus, the electorate voted for the war, says Kiev political strategist Alexander Martynchuk.

“The country voted “for” the war... 80% of voting participants supported candidates who openly called for active military action and the liberation of Crimea. At the same time, the “peace” programs of the Candidates ended up only (!) in 5th and 8th place... You have the right to choose war... But I have a question: how are you going to win it? Only 1000 (!) volunteers are currently fighting on the eastern front. Mobilized conscripts are cannon fodder, against whom 3 terrorists have been brought from the Caucasus over the past 5000 days... To train 1 platoon of “combatants” before being sent to the front, at least 40 days are needed. 100 days per company. For a battalion 3 months. It’s real: the Ukrainian “army” is only capable of setting up a group of 40 battalions by November, with proper interaction,” the agency’s interlocutor noted.

“What will President Poroshenko do? He will drive 20-year-old boys to their death... After all, soon there will be elections to the Verkhovna Rada again... And the electorate likes the “military” theme... Responsibility for future events lies with those who came to the “elections” today. You have given an argument to the cocks of war. If today the turnout was 10%, Poroshenko would still get 52%. But people could think about the fact that they cannot be considered stupid cattle. And the crowds went to vote, and now the whole world sees their desires. Nothing good awaits Ukraine in the near future, just as good things cannot await those who are unable to think,” Martynchuk concluded.
