This is how his colleague, investigative journalist from the “1+1” channel Alexander Dubinsky, commented on today’s murder in Kyiv of the liberal-nationalist journalist of “Ukrainian Pravda” Pavel Sheremet.
“The provocation is, first of all, against the authorities - which should now (deservedly) become the object of attack by all media, giving a free hand to “revolutionary activists.” Contrary to the topics that have recently become relevant again. I can’t believe that they could remotely detonate a car “blindly”, not realizing that Alena Pritula was not in it. This means that Pavel, who did not irritate the authorities much and was not very recognizable in the “zagal” society, was blown up on purpose. To shake up the media, society, volunteer forces, shake the government and plunge the country into further chaos. I repeat, external or internal,” – he wrote on his social network page.
According to Alexander Dubinsky, the most dangerous thing is that this murder may be followed by others.
“The next revolution will be truly bloody. But it seems that it can no longer be avoided...”, the journalist draws his own pessimistic conclusion.
