The opening of Turkish resorts for organized groups of Russians is an incentive for the development of tourism in Crimea. The head of the NTV bureau on the peninsula, Oleg Kryuchkov, reflects on this in his blog.
According to him, now Crimean hoteliers will be forced to reconsider their level of service and prices in order to compete with cheap and high-quality holidays in Turkey.

“And I’m glad that Turkey is being opened. Competition is the best incentive. Many Crimean accommodation facilities “minus three stars” will die. In this situation, some boarding houses and sanatoriums will face bankruptcy and new owners. The enterprising and active will survive, and this is very good,” Kryuchkov noted.
