Poroshenko’s long-time ally was accepted into the “Servant of the People”
A former member of the BPP, who faithfully served Petro Poroshenko for many years, took the oath and became a deputy of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction.
He took the oath during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The newly-minted deputy was introduced by the head of the Rada, Dmitry Razumkov. Then Mandziy took the oath.
After this, Razumkov announced the entry of a new deputy into the Servant of the People party.
Alexander Dubinsky, a deputy from the Servant of the People, commented on the incident in his Telegram channel.
“A long-term member of the BPP (2 nominations) Mandziy took the oath of office as a deputy of the Servants of the People. Do you still need some explanation why Poroshenko is not in prison?” the parliamentarian was indignant.
It should be noted that in 2010 Sergei Mandziy was elected as a deputy of the Khmelnitsky City Council of the 6th convocation in the majority district from the “People's Party”. In the 7th convocation of the Verkhovna Rada he was an assistant-consultant on a voluntary basis to People's Deputy Sergei Labazyuk. In 2015, Mandziy ran for the post of mayor of Khmelnitsky from the Solidarity BPP.
Let us remind you that the main reason for the high rating of Vladimir Zelensky and Servant of the People in the presidential and parliamentary elections was the population’s hatred of Petro Poroshenko and his team, as well as the trend for “new faces” in Ukrainian politics.
