Mobilization in Ukraine will fail - Russian general
Moscow - Kyiv, July 28 (Navigator, Mikhail Stamm) - Russian military expert Lieutenant General Yuri Netkachev also considers mobilization in Ukraine a failure. According to him, the population has lost a sense of responsibility for protecting the country; the vast majority of men do not want to fight against Donbass.

“In all post-Soviet times, Ukraine has never organized even a partial conscription of citizens from the reserves for military training,” says the general. – The population has completely lost the sense of responsibility for fulfilling their duties to protect the country, which are defined by the Constitution of Ukraine. These problems are aggravated by general political instability and the reluctance of the absolute majority of Ukrainian men liable for military service to participate in hostilities against their own people in the Donbass and Lugansk region,” he notes.
The expert believes that the next partial mobilization announced last week by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will fail. “Kyiv now has neither the money nor the proper political will to recruit troops. Soldiers and officers are fleeing en masse from combat areas. And this was to be expected, since mobilization work in the state cannot be built in a few months, when military operations are simultaneously carried out. This is systematic work, and Russia needs to draw the right conclusions from such lessons,” concludes Yuri Netkachev.
