Those mobilized in the ATO were having seizures at the training ground
Ukrainian military personnel confirm that drunkards were drafted into the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Former ATO militant Andrei Rymarchuk, who served as reconnaissance platoon commander in the 53rd brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, spoke about this in an interview with Kraina magazine.

“I had to go fight in the third wave of mobilization. I persuaded the military commissar to grant a deferment. My daughter was just about to be born. I have already received a summons for the fourth one. I fell in with a rabble of drunkards. 15 epileptic seizures from alcohol per day were common. Even on the bus, some shouted that they were going to war and burped. 40 people were taken from the Kyiv regional military registration and enlistment office. Of these, 15 were sent home immediately upon arrival. They weren’t standing on their feet, and they weren’t even sober,” admits Rymarchuk.
As PolitNavigator reported, due to the high mortality rate from alcoholism among mobilized soldiers at the Rivne military training ground, employees of the Rivne regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs had to work in intensive mode in populated areas that are located nearby.
