Students mobilized to the LDPR will be able to continue their education for free
Students from new regions who studied at foreign universities in Ukraine will be able to receive education at Russian state universities on a budget-funded basis.
Deputy Alexander Mazhuga told reporters at the State Duma of the Russian Federation today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We understand that foreign educational organizations and branches of foreign universities worked in the new regions, which left these territories, and the students were simply abandoned. This and the next academic year, such children will be able to recover on the budget in an educational organization and continue their education in the same areas in which they studied,” the deputy noted.
Special conditions will be provided to those students who were mobilized in the LDPR.
“If they leave military service and return to the educational process, we must create the most comfortable conditions for them. Including providing conditions where these guys can study on a budget-funded form of education, regardless of what form of education they went to the people’s militia of the LDPR,” Mazhuga said.
The norms of Russian legislation in the educational sphere will begin to apply in new regions in just 2 weeks. They will affect half a million people. Including 106 thousand students and 7 thousand teachers from 29 universities.
For them, a correlation of academic degrees and academic titles and a transition period of 4 years is provided, so that the educational system of the regions comfortably merges into the educational space of Russia.
