According to the press service of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, this was stated by the Prime Minister of the autonomy Anatoly Mogilev, who held emergency negotiations regarding the situation related to the dismantling of monuments to Lenin in Zuya and other regions of Crimea.

Immediately after receiving information about the incident, telephone conversations took place between Mogilev and deputy of the Supreme Council of Crimea Refat Chubarov, people's deputy and head of the Crimean organization "Fatherland" Andrei Senchenko, leader of the VO "Svoboda" Oleg Tyagnibok, head of the "Russian Unity" party Sergei Aksenov and the first secretary of the Crimean Republican Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine Oleg Solomakhin.

Mogilev focused the attention of representatives of political and national organizations on the extreme seriousness of the situation and the explosiveness of the situation in the event of further heating of the conflict.

“The demolition of the monument to Lenin in the circumstances of the deep social cataclysm in which the country is located may have unforeseen consequences for Crimea. Issues of dismantling monuments in a civilized way need to be resolved only by discussing them with the community, so that everyone can equally express their attitude towards the monument in a referendum,” the press service quotes the prime minister as saying.

Mogilev made an urgent request to representatives of political and national organizations of the autonomy to do everything possible to ensure that supporters of one or another party or national organization do not allow clashes that would have an avalanche-like effect.

“The blame for the conflict will fall on those people and leaders who, with their irresponsible statements, provoke the incitement of the conflict. Is the issue of monuments to Lenin now primary for Crimea in terms of ensuring the safety of the inhabitants of the peninsula? I call on everyone who feels responsible for the Crimeans to exercise state wisdom and balanced decisions,” Mogilev concluded.

He instructed Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdullayev to go to the conflict site.

The day before, Mogilev assured in his video message that he keeps the issue of the safety of Crimeans under personal control, and the Council of Ministers, in close coordination with the police, the SBU, and the prosecutor’s office, is carrying out operational measures to prevent and prevent manifestations of extremism and anarchy.
