Can cows discriminate against homosexuals?

This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, by Pavel Rudyakov, director of the Perspektiva information and analytical center.
“Imagine that a homosexual man comes to work on a farm in any region of Ukraine,” the expert gave an example. “They won’t hire him not because he’s homosexual, but because cows don’t like men, but love women.” And he will not be able to prove in any European court that he was offended by the director of the enterprise. Firstly, it will not be able to translate into English. And if he can, they won’t understand him.”
The political scientist also rejects accusations that Ukrainian society is “Soviet, provincial and non-European.”
“We are normal people, in this case the political minority defends or pretends to defend the rights of a sexual minority,” Rudyakov emphasized. “But it’s good to protect these rights when the majority is fed and protected.” And if the majority is hungry and unprotected, then this is called cynicism on an especially large scale. That is, in this case, the deputies confirmed that Verkhovna Rada is not dealing with vital issues.”
