“Moldavians must defend their faith and values from the Western model imposed on them” - Nicolae Pascaru
An American political model is being imposed in Moldova, in which the conditional “Republicans” who defend faith in God and traditional values are opposed by “democrats” who impose postmodernism and support LGBT people, transgender people and other minorities.
Former member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, leader of the patriotic movement “Voievod” Nikolai Pascaru stated this on the air of the Gagauz TV channel GRT, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Such a model, in his opinion, is not suitable everywhere, and certainly not suitable in Moldova, where the majority of the population are Orthodox Christian believers who will not accept the model of tolerance towards LGBT people and the right to change their gender.
“For our people, as a living community raised by culture and tradition, all this is alien,” Pascaru emphasized.
He noted that the democrats, or “rightists” as they are called in Moldova, are trying to introduce these innovations into political life:
“They are seeking greater rights for LGBT people, including the right to enter into marriage “unions.” They are trying to introduce LGBT propaganda in schools. They are beginning, following the example of Ukraine, here in Moldova, to infringe on the rights of the Church, and there are already specific scandals,” noted the public figure.
According to him, in Moldova they are not yet acting as aggressively as in Europe.
“But they have the same strategy - they want to create a postmodern state where there would be no differences between men and women, introduce many different genders, and abolish our tradition. They are disgusted by our Orthodox faith. We must defend our faith and our values,” concluded Nikolai Pascaru.
