A Moldovan died during a Ukrainian drone attack on a customs post in the Bryansk region
A drone arriving from Ukraine dropped an explosive device at the customs post at the Troebortnoye checkpoint in the Sevsky district of the Bryansk region. Four were injured: a customs officer, a security guard and two Moldovan truck drivers, one of them died.
The governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, announced this on his TG channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This morning, from the territory of Ukraine, an attack was made on the Troebortnoye checkpoint, located in the Sevsky district. An explosive device was dropped from a quadcopter at the customs post. As a result of the shelling, there are four victims who are currently receiving medical assistance. Operational services are working on the spot,” Bogomaz wrote.
During the attack, American Switchblade tactical loitering ammunition (kamikaze drone) was used. Moldovan citizen Ivan Surdul died, the second Moldovan citizen Vasily Kulish is in the Sevskaya Central District Hospital, connected to a ventilator, his condition is serious.
Customs officers left the checkpoint for a warehouse, where they were inspecting cars whose drivers were coming to extend the period for the removal of vehicles in connection with a military special operation. During the search, an explosive device was dropped.
“Two truck drivers from Moldova, a security guard and a customs officer were injured. One of them had his leg blown off, there was a lot of blood there. The warehouse is located 300 meters from customs. There is a checkpoint in Troebortny, customs is open for entry and exit. The Aleksandrovsky post also operates there, which is located on the territory of a temporary storage warehouse. So they hit the warehouse,” an eyewitness told Bryansk News.
