Moldova sold weapons to ISIS
The weapons, stored at the airport in the Moldovan city of Marculesti, were sold to ISIS in 2015.
The former director of the airport, Vladimir Maiduk, told reporters about this today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On May 16, we found a warehouse with weapons and explosives. At first we called the police and specialists from the Ministry of Defense, but they were afraid because everything was located five meters from the runway. Then the examination was falsified, indicating that the weapon was not active. The weapons were sold to the Islamic State,” Point quoted Maiduk as saying.
Vladimir Majduk said that he notified former Defense Minister Evgeniy Sturza, former Prosecutor General Eduard Harunzhen and President Igor Dodon, but none of them responded.
