According to preliminary data provided by the Dutch authorities, information about the presence of Moldovan citizens among the passengers of the Boeing 777 aircraft owned by Malaysia Airlines, which was en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, has not yet been confirmed, reports jurnal.md.
Meanwhile, according to the Novosti-Moldova agency, during an emergency meeting of the State Administration of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Moldova (SACA), it was decided that all aircraft of national and foreign carriers will avoid crossing the airspace of Ukraine until a decision on the resumption of flights is made accepted internationally.
GACA notes that flights to and from Russia operated by Air Moldova will be operated in full, according to the recommendations and bypass corridors designated by the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL).
