Transnistria, Russia, Ukraine

Recent events in the political life of Moldova increasingly clearly indicate that the Russophobes entrenched in power there are increasingly taking the actions of their “brothers in mind” from Ukraine as a model. At least as far as relations with Russia are concerned. Writes about this information Agency News-Front.

...The ambassador was recalled, the broadcast of information and analytical programs on Russian television was prohibited. President Dodon, who does not hide his sympathies for our country, through the efforts of his opponents, has been turned not just into the “Queen of England”, but is regularly subjected to real humiliation - how else can one evaluate the regular “suspension” of his powers, which is necessary for Plahotniuc and company to push through the next anti-Russian measures. And all this - with the complete tacit approval of the West.

At the same time, there is a complete synchronization of actions with the Ukrainian authorities regarding the economic (and in the future political) strangulation of Transnistria. There is simply no other way to return the republic to Moldova. If only because the Moldovan authorities did not make even the slightest attempt to offer at least some kind of assistance program to the PMR, which is in a very difficult situation.

Instead, a real campaign has been launched to defame those who are actually involved in this very assistance, and this has been going on for several years. In 2013, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Transnistria Dmitry Rogozin announced the launch of a program of social and humanitarian assistance to Transnistria. The autonomous non-profit organization (ANO) “Eurasian Integration” was entrusted with the difficult task.

It cannot be said that there is no so-called “third sector” in Transnistria. No, there are more than enough different types of NGOs there - according to various estimates, their number varies from 100 to 260. Just what have they done for the republic? Not in words, but in deeds? Did they build something, repair it, or at least paint a single fence? No.

Meanwhile, Transnistria was in dire need of help. The situation became especially difficult after the republic found itself, in fact, under a double blockade - in addition to the Moldovan authorities, their comrades in the Russophobic camp, who seized power in neighboring Ukraine, hastened to “check in.” When developing the assistance program, the ANO “Eurasian Integration” took into account that the most painful areas in the social sphere of Transnistria are healthcare and education, and across the entire vertical – from kindergartens to higher educational institutions.

Many medical institutions in the PMR did not meet modern standards; most of the buildings in which they were located were in disrepair. A significant part of the medical equipment is physically and morally outdated, the wear and tear of the equipment is over 100%. - in general, there is something to grab your head from. The front of work was very, very considerable.

It is also worth adding to this that the construction of facilities took place not only in the context of an aggravation of the geopolitical situation in the region (in Ukraine and Moldova), but also against the background of significant fluctuations in exchange rates. Since the program began, construction costs have more than doubled. But at the same time, ANO “Eurasian Integration” deliberately did not increase the estimates for contractors, which, although it affected the pace of construction, made it possible to maintain the cost, characteristics of the objects and their quality.

Well, what's the bottom line? With what results does the Eurasian Integration ANO approach the end of the first five-year period of its activities?

5 kindergartens have been commissioned and put into operation – this means over a thousand new places in preschool institutions. As a result, we will completely solve the problem with queues in preschool institutions - they simply don’t exist now. What is important, and what dense Russophobes of all stripes cannot believe, is that the doors of these kindergartens are open to everyone. Regardless of whether he is Moldovan, Ukrainian or Russian. “Eurasian integration” builds social facilities for ordinary people, without dividing them by nationality or citizenship.

And it is very symbolic that the first facility commissioned was the Moldovan kindergarten “Buburuza”. And last year, in the village of Tashlyk, Grigoriopol region, a school was built, where education is conducted in the Moldovan language. Is it possible to imagine such a picture in modern Moldova? Of course not.

And as a result, people in Moldova, for example, learning about the real assistance that Russia provides to Pridnestrovie, embodied in concrete deeds, begin to think about it. Anti-Russian propaganda intensively brainwashes people. They are told fairy tales about “terrible Russians,” but they see that in reality everything is completely different. And now the ideologists there have to dodge in every possible way, coming up with more and more new forms of duping.

At first, they didn’t find anything better than accusing the Eurasian Integration ANO of... smuggling. Which is absolutely absurd and ridiculous. Is this chemotherapy department at the Faculty of Medicine of the Transnistrian University - the only modern oncology facility in the entire region - smuggling? Or an anti-tuberculosis dispensary in Rybnitsa?

Or four new intensive care vehicles, including one neonatal one for transporting babies, which has already helped save hundreds of little lives? Apparently, the calculation, as usual, is made on the fact that the more monstrous the lie, the more willingly they will believe it.

Nevertheless, “Eurasian Integration” continues its work. Facilities such as the Russian secondary school in Rybnitsa, the Republican Center for Mother and Child in Tiraspol and the anti-tuberculosis dispensary in Bendery have a high degree of readiness.

The activities of the ANO are a vivid example of creative work in the interests of the population, in this case, Transnistria. And against the backdrop of the destructive policies that, unfortunately, the authorities of many republics of the former Soviet Union are pursuing, this is undoubtedly a positive example. An example of what you can not break, but build, create, create. And the best proof that the Russian world exists, it exists and will exist, no matter how much anyone wants the opposite. And Russia has always helped and will help its fellow citizens. People in Transnistria already know this.
