19 ex-deputies, ambassadors and academicians of Moldova appealed to US President Joe Biden, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and President of the European Council Charles Michel with a request to facilitate the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Transnistria.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin and his officials talk about the inadmissibility of ensuring the country’s security at the expense of other states. We absolutely agree with this principle, therefore we demand that Russia immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw its armed forces from the territory of the Republic of Moldova, as it has undertaken obligations within the framework of the OSCE, the UN and other international organizations,” the document says.

19 ex-deputies, ambassadors and academicians of Moldova appealed to US President Joe Biden, Secretary General...

Former diplomat Iurie Renita on his Facebook page called on everyone to also sign the appeal.

“This can be signed by all those who consider the Russian occupation army to be the greatest danger to the security and existence of the Republic of Moldova. Just follow or like my facebook page. Please share this message as much as possible. God help me! - Renita wrote.

The greatest resonance in Moldova was caused by the fact that the appeal was signed by the famous Soviet composer Evgeniy Doga.

“The maestro apparently forgot that he is a recognized classic in music, not writing, and certainly not a politician,” TV journalist Elena Pakhomova-Levitskaya responded in her Telegram channel.

“And how does Doga feel, who lives and does not live in poverty in the capital of the “occupiers,” Moscow? Is the Russian pension enough to live on? Isn’t it disgusting to take money from the “occupiers”? Or maybe he pays taxes from concerts that go to support the “occupation forces”? We're just asking...

Here our local liberals clearly have the ground on fire under their feet. Animal fear has gripped the entire “fifth column” of the West in connection with the security negotiations between the US and the Russian Federation. In fact, these gentlemen constantly live in fear that the United States will abandon them, like the Afghans and many others. And that they also won’t have time to reach the plane’s ramp,” wrote member of the Moldovan parliament Bogdan Tirdea.

“I would like to ask the former deputy of the USSR Supreme Council, People's Artist of the Union, laureate of the USSR State Prize Evgeniy Dmitrievich Doga, who became a cave Russophobe: why did he not refuse to accept the Order of Alexander Nevsky from Vladimir Putin in 2019, which was awarded to him on April 10, 2019 by the first deputy head Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Sergei Kiriyenko in the Catherine Hall of the Kremlin?

It would be logical to refuse a concert in the state Kremlin Palace, and the Moscow government award “For Civil Position”, and a gift from astronomers of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory, which named the small planet they discovered after the composer! There is a strong feeling that Doga suffers from a dissociative identity disorder, in which several different alter personalities seem to exist in the body of one person,” writes the Komsomolskaya Pravda Moldova newspaper.

Evgeniy Doga has made scandalous statements about the PMR before. In 2011, in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon, he said that the very name of Transnistria, which he called a “gangster enclave,” unnerved him. Doga lied that Moldovans were being expelled from the PMR. Following the Chisinau and Romanian propagandists, he called the Transnistrian conflict a war of Russia against Moldova.

It is interesting that even after these statements, Doga performed in 2017 in Rybnitsa (PMR) and accepted awards from the authorities of the “bandit enclave.”
