Moldavian Russophobe threatens Ukraine with new CCP
There is a high probability that Russia will implement its scenario in the parliamentary elections in Moldova, where, in the event of a socialist victory, Transnistria may be offered a return as a confederation, and then this example will be demonstrated to the West as Moscow’s successful experience in resolving conflicts.
Ex-member of the Parliament of Moldova Oazu Nantoi, known for his Russophobic statements, stated this on the EspressoTV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Nantoi shared his fears that the socialist party of Igor Dodon will win the elections on February 24, which will then try to revive the plan of the Russian politician Dmitry Kozak, which envisaged the return of Transnistria as a member of the confederal state.
“Now, as we believe, there is a very high probability of a scenario where these pro-Putin political forces will receive a majority, and after that, under the pretext of resolving the Transnistrian conflict, Putin will try to create a precedent for Ukraine in the case of the territories of the LDPR,” Nantoi said.
Let us remind you that the residents of Transnistria twice confirmed their desire to reunite with Russia, and not return to Moldova, in a referendum.
