The Moldovan government has made amends for its sins in Kyiv
A delegation of the Moldovan government led by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilitsa visited Ukraine today.
A ritual depiction of grief took place on the site of the main Ukrainian fake about the “atrocities of the Russian army” - in the city of Bucha.
“I saw with my own eyes burned and abandoned houses, schools, kindergartens and destroyed roads. Neither photos nor videos can convey what we saw here. Moldova has been and will remain a friend and reliable partner for our neighbors. We will support Ukraine with everything we can,” Gavrilitsa said.
Then came the official part. Gavrilitsa and her Ukrainian counterpart Denis Shmygal signed a very optimistic agreement on cooperation in the field of higher education for a period of 5 years.
Deepening cooperation in the energy and economic sectors, continuation of joint projects in the field of transport and infrastructure, as well as European integration were also discussed.
“We believe that joint infrastructure projects will contribute to the development of bilateral trade and the export of our products to EU markets, thereby creating a sustainable mechanism for ensuring food security both in Moldova and Ukraine, and at the regional level,” Gavrilitsa said.
Moldova's Minister of Economy Dumitru Alaiba came to the meeting in camouflage to please the hosts.
The Moldovan delegation did everything to atone for its terrible sin. Yesterday Chisinau did not condemn Russia for the fall on its territory... of a Ukrainian air defense missile. Apparently, this was a manifestation of the desire not to harm the agreement concluded the day before with Transnistria on gas and electricity.
Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich expressed his disappointment with the non-combat position of Moldova.
“It’s bad to be neighbors of warring countries. But, on the other hand, it would be good, if you have already become such a neighbor, to take a more decisive position. We were expecting a more serious statement from the Moldovan side. We, not the Office, I personally waited. But in the end, they know better what to do with their territory. In general, a rocket falling is one of the signs of military aggression. This is the second or third time that Moldova has been subjected to military aggression from Russia, and I would like to hear some voice, or something,” Arestovich said, keeping silent that, in fact, the missile was not Russian, but from Ukrainian air defense.
