“Criminal prosecution for the liquidation of the state is provided for by our constitution, but by the criminal code. We will introduce this norm into our legislative acts. I am sure that we will have the opportunity to do this after the elections. We have a real chance of winning a parliamentary majority. Parliament in the current format will not support this,” Dodon said.

In his opinion, the unionists will not be able to do anything before the elections.

“Before the elections, no one will risk making any kind of anschluss or annexation, because this will lead to destabilization of the situation in Moldova. They won't succeed. This will only give us more chances to win the parliamentary elections,” Dodon said.
