Moldova should become a platform for negotiations on peace - said the Moldovan politician, former mayor of Balti, leader of the political formation “Our Party” Renato Usatii, who announced his intention to run for president of Moldova.
According to him, this will be one of the main actions that he will take when he comes to power, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The first thing I will do is invite everyone to Moldova and do everything possible to Moldova has become a platform not only for discussing the end of this war in Ukraine, but also for achieving results“, Usatii said during his Internet program “Strength in Truth.”
The politician is convinced that this is exactly what Moldova should become known to the whole world.
“What the Republic of Moldova needs to be promoted through: not through money laundering, not through the theft of a billion... and all the nonsense that happens. It's real! Will Ukrainians be ready to come to us? Yes. And the Russians will come. This is where we must demonstrate real political maturity on the world stage, not in Maia Sandu's referendums", - he said.
The politician recalled pompous summit of the “European Political Community”, which was held on June 1, 2023 in Moldova, but, according to him, “did not bring any results”.
«Today Moldova should host really important events, and not hold photo shoots, as Maia Sandu did and, it is possible that he will do it again to win the presidential election,” Usatii said.
