Young people take grenades and ammunition “for personal purposes” from the ATO zone
Kharkov, August 11 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In Kharkov, military personnel were detained returning from the ATO zone with grenades and ammunition.

According to the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on the Southern Railway, in the main hall of the Kharkov-Passenger station, transport police officers detained four servicemen who were going on leave from the anti-terrorist operation zone with grenades, cartridges, as well as lighting and signal flares .
“From young people aged 20 to 22 years, who are residents of the Dnepropetrovsk, Cherkasy and Khmelnytsky regions, transport policemen seized 45 cartridges of 7,62 mm caliber, four cartridges of 9 mm caliber, three machine gun cartridges and three machine gun cartridges of 7,62 mm. In addition, the young people were transporting 15 RGD-5 grenades, one F-1 grenade, six flares and three signal flares,” the department noted.
According to the detainees, they were traveling from the ATO zone on vacation, and took ammunition with them “for personal use.”
As Navigator reported, this is not the first time that Ukrainian soldiers, going home on leave, take “souvenirs” from the ATO zone. Earlier in Zaporozhye, an explosion occurred in a residential multi-storey building: the brother of a national guard shot from a grenade launcher, also captured from the ATO zone.
