The youth of the Majlis are planning a mass ascent to Chatyr-Dag on May 16
On May 16, as part of events dedicated to the 71st anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars, the action “Climbing Chatyrdag 2015” is planned.

According to her information, the goal of the action is the ascent of Crimean Tatar youth from all over the Crimean region to one of the highest peaks of the peninsula, holding a dua (prayer) in memory of those killed during the deportation, as well as collective singing of the national anthem.
The organizers of the action are the Majlis, the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea, public and youth Crimean Tatar organizations.
Organizers expect 2000-3000 people to attend.
Participants of the action gather on May 16, Saturday, at 8.30 at Angarsk Pass. Departure time is 9.00.
Let us remind you that “Climbing Chatyrdag” has been carried out by the Majlis since 2010.
