Montyan: Kyiv is zombied, there will be no peace treaty
Ukraine will not comply with the “Steinmeier formula” in the foreseeable future, because in this case the authorities will have to explain why thousands of Ukrainians died over the course of five years, and why war rhetoric was promoted in society. Kiev lawyer Tatyana Montyan stated this in her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The problem is that, in general and in general, unfortunately, in a society intoxicated by military propaganda, and all these cries about victory over the separatists, about our brave military and other blizzards, there is a strong opinion that “how can it be, but Why did we fight for five years then, why are we fighting, why the hell are kids being drafted into the army, who needs all this...”
Who will now say that this whole war was purely so that someone could cut money on military budgets? Because an idiot understands that no military solution to this issue exists and cannot exist!
Well, how can we now say to the people: “We fought in vain, we give these separatists autonomy - let them do what they want and do what they please.” It turns out that they fought in vain?!
In the near future, of course, there will be no implementation of any formulas. Simply because none of our people in power dares to tell people the truth - we simply stole money in this war, we obviously could not win it, and what can we say now - Russia achieved its goal, the separatists achieved their goal, how can this be?
No one will take on such responsibility and such political risks,” Montyan said.
