Montyan mocked the president who was diagnosed with cancer
In Ukraine, they ridiculed the procedure for signing a strategic partnership agreement between Poland and the United States, within the framework of which Polish President Andrzej Duda did not find a chair next to US leader Donald Trump and the Polish leader had to sign his autograph under the document in a bent position.
Thus, the famous Kiev lawyer Tatyana Montyan stated that all the “pride” of the Polish people was contained in the posture of the country’s president.
“Oh, where is this chair for Duda?!” Did you really forget to put it?! Where is your ambition, Poles?! Or do you only know how to mock the poor, downtrodden ZapUkrovsky ragulians?” she wrote on her blog.
And political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov emphasized that the photo from the signing ceremony says everything you need to know about real Polish-American relations.
“This is an “official” photo from the signing of a joint statement by the presidents of the United States and Poland - Trump and Duda. Yes. You were not mistaken - the guest was not offered a chair... Yes, you are right - that’s all you need to know about American-Polish relations,” Dzhangirov noted.
Previously, ex-speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Voloshin commented skeptically a photograph of Polish President Andrzej Duda taken during a meeting with American leader Donald Trump at the White House.
"Reedus" wrote that the Polish government’s proposal to host a US military base on its territory and the willingness to pay $2 billion for it is an attempt by the party in power to strengthen its positions within the country and play on anti-Russian sentiments.
