Montyan predicts a mass exodus of Tatars from Crimea to Turkey
Crimean Tatars will soon begin to leave the peninsula, since the basis of their business was tourists vacationing as “savages,” and now the resort will focus on a different audience. Kiev human rights activist Tatyana Montyan stated this on the air of the “10 Cents” program.

According to her, Crimea today is turning into a military base, and tourists come only in organized groups to the sanatoriums of the South Coast.
“The basis of the Crimean economy was all these summer savages. It’s just that all these holidaymakers who are sent to Crimea centrally, they have everything included - they will also buy baklava and all sorts of dried bulls, they don’t need it. The Tatars will most likely flee en masse to Turkey, where they have a huge multimillion-dollar diaspora. Some, naturally, went to Ukraine, others went somewhere else, because the Tatars had nothing to do - it was their business. All sorts of taverns and all that,” Montyan said.
