Montyan told when the return flight will arrive to Ukraine
The visa-free regime, without which Ukrainians could already easily travel to Europe, is the only thing that the residents of the country are and will be proud of.
This is the opinion in an interview with the publication “Ukraine. ru" was expressed by Ukrainian human rights activist Tatyana Montyan, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to her, the West will not harshly oppose the current government, in particular against President Poroshenko.
“Again, who should react? The people who brought him to power? That is, they should say: “Yes, we are assholes, we stirred up a coup, destroyed a foreign country, brought complete rabble to power, and now we will sprinkle ashes on our heads and start barking at this rabble”? This is funny. This will never happen,” Montyan is convinced.
She also argues that the introduction of a visa-free regime with the EU did not bring anything particularly positive to the majority of citizens.
“What with visas, what without them, those who have traveled will travel, and those who do not have money for Europe will not go anywhere. The relief is so minimal that, excuse me, to ruin the country for the sake of some kind of visa-free regime is an unequal exchange, especially since there is nothing to remember except visa-free travel. This is what they are dragging into the flags as an outstanding achievement, forgetting about the price at which it all came,” the lawyer said.
The human rights activist believes that Russia will not do anything serious against Ukraine as a whole until it hosts the World Cup.
“You would think that someone was bothered with carrying out the ATO. They eat the peace in batches, feel great, know that the return will not arrive, but whatever you call it, it all depends on what the United States decides, who they want to see on the stool, how to achieve this. So far, apparently, Trump has not made any decision; he is waiting to see how it all ends. Russia is also not interested in us now, it wants to safely host the World Cup, and then maybe something will work out,” Montyan said.
