Montyan: What Zelensky is saying is not even funny
Well-known Kiev lawyer Tatyana Montyan ridiculed Vladimir Zelensky’s call for emigrants from Ukraine to return to their homeland, where after the change of government, supposedly, favorable times have come for successful business.
“Why is Zelensky calling on businessmen to return, and his officials are talking about protective measures? What Zelensky is saying is not even funny,” Montyan stated.
“Imagine people who struggled to escape from Ukraine, worked in some shameful jobs, gritted their teeth and suppressed their pride, despite their education, fit into a foreign society and tried to somehow get settled there.
And now they will leave everything and return to Ukraine, where there is a complete mess going on, property rights are not protected, where scumbags with goodwill hang around in droves, killing three year old children. What is he carrying? This is such nonsense that it is difficult to compare with anything and find an analogy,” she noted.
According to Montyan, the authors of texts for the comic group “95th Quarter” were hired as Zelensky’s speechwriters.
“I don’t know who writes texts to Zelensky. I suspect that they are the same people as in Kvartal. But they forget that the "quarter" was intended to amuse people and collect cash. But the president has a completely different mission. The president should not amuse the people. The President must say something constructive.
And when he invites emigrants to return, luring them with some percentages that are much higher than in Europe, this is not even funny, not even the level of “Kvartal,” the lawyer added.
