The organizer of the attack was the local Right Sector, led by its leader Sergei Sternenko.
“Four activists were detained for hooliganism and disobedience to government officials and taken away,” the publication writes. – Among them is Sternenko himself, who began to “beat off” his people from law enforcement officers and tried to stop the police car, swearing at the head of preventive activities of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Odessa region, Ivan Ishchenko. As a result, the “pravosek” was pushed aside, tied up and taken away in handcuffs to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
“The entrance to the Russian Consulate General is now carefully guarded; the voters themselves, frightened by the clash, do not yet want to communicate with journalists,” reports Timer.
