Simferopol, July 16 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) - Units of a separate marine brigade of the Black Sea Fleet, during the exercise of heterogeneous fleet forces, carried out a landing on an unequipped coast and conducted a training battle for landing at a training ground in Cossack Bay in Sevastopol.

“The landing on BTR-80 armored personnel carriers was carried out on the water. Having crossed the water area under enemy fire, the infantry fought for the landing, reached the assigned lines, and immediately launched an offensive deep into the territory,” said the head of the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet, captain 1st rank Vyacheslava Trukhachev.
According to him, advancing in three columns, the amphibious assault attacked and neutralized the stronghold of the mock enemy on the shore.
“The objective of the exercise was completed; units of a separate marine brigade, along with the tasks of landing an amphibious assault, practiced actions in anti-landing defense and organizing the defense of various types of strong points on the shore,” added Vyacheslav Trukhachev.
