“Russia’s maritime crown misses Odessa”
Odessa as a seaport is actually being destroyed by Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed on the radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda” by the Russian publicist and nationalist Yegor Kholmogorov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Karl Marx, in addition to being a classic of Marxism-Leninism, was a very distinguished Russophobe,” says Kholmogorov. “During the Crimean War, he wrote articles one after another that were completely inciting war. In particular, he called for Prussia to declare war against Russia.
He reasoned that the siege of Sevastopol alone was not enough, it was necessary to hit all Russian ports - Sevastopol, Odessa, Kronstadt, Riga, Revel. He gave a list - one port is civilian, the other is military. In this sense, the absence of Odessa in Russia’s maritime crown is, of course, a great sadness. Despite the fact that, by and large, as a Ukrainian seaport, Odessa is dying, it is dying economically in this capacity.”
