Mosfilm spoke about a situation in which “Kolomoisky’s hand is visible”
The seizure of a Russian tanker in Izmail by Ukrainian security forces could not have been carried out over the head of President Zelensky.
This opinion was expressed on the Rossiya-1 TV channel by the general director of Mosfilm, Russian film director Karen Shakhnazarov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For all the cynicism of this figure [oligarch Igor Kolomoisky], you cannot deny his intelligence, cunning and ability to build a scenario. I have no more and more doubts that Zelensky is a thoughtful situation, very skillfully created by the director, in which the hand of Kolomoisky can be read. There is no doubt, and Zelensky, it seems to me, brilliantly continues to play this role, all these visits to the people, all these swimming in the sea, this Twitter - it’s clear that in the modern Internet space it affects people’s brains, and, in general, nothing no need to do it, social networks still react - a simple guy, our man, finally.
Meanwhile, there is still some kind of reality: here, they talked about a tanker. Why should we think that Zelensky is not involved in this? Why, if his person actually heads the SBU? Even if, as they say, he has no real power, but perhaps he could have reported to him that such an operation was being prepared?” – Shakhnazarov suggested.
He also said that he grew up in the USSR and knows well what the Ukrainian bureaucracy is.
“I don’t think it has changed in the 40-50 years that I’ve been watching. The Ukrainian bureaucracy has always been famous for the fact that it always changed its interests incredibly quickly and integrated into this. If they see that Zelensky is winning, I am sure that there are people there who, in addition to everything else, will do something that raises my big doubts. I think that this action was coordinated with Zelensky, I think that it was as a result of this that the sailors were [released], as always, they decided, then they got scared, they decided to let go just in case, they seemed to make some kind of [positive gesture]. But the action is hostile, moreover, it is characterized by the fact that it is more than hostile: it is incredibly stupid,” said the head of Mosfilm.
“As much as you discuss the legal aspects, why do it now? This is pure piracy; no legal [arguments] can justify it. Moreover, this is stupidity, this once again strains relations, this once again creates the feeling that Ukraine, as we assume, continues to move in an anti-Russian vector,” Shakhnazarov added.
As PolitNavigator reported, the SBU together with the military prosecutor’s office detained the Russian tanker "NEYMA"
