Let us recall that in his article Pinchuk sends a signal to the West that under certain conditions Kiev could agree to hold elections in the uncontrolled territories of Donbass, “temporarily” remove the priority of EU membership from the agenda, abandon NATO and declare neutrality, and also agree to a gradual the lifting of sanctions against the Russian Federation by the West and taking the question of Crimea’s ownership “out of the brackets” of the current political dialogue.
Ukrainian People's Deputy Igor Mosiychuk assessed Pinchuk's message as the readiness of the oligarch and the circles behind him to capitulate to Russia.
“Oligarch Victor Pinchuk proposes to capitulate to Russia, come to terms with the occupation of Crimea and hold elections in the DPR and LPR. I believe that the plan proposed by Pinchuk is the path to national and state treason. After this statement by Pinchuk, his father-in-law Leonid Kuchma should be immediately withdrawn from participation in the Minsk or any other negotiations with Muscovy, because it is no secret that Pinchuk and Kuchma are from the same oligarchic field and have the same views. What Pinchuk says, Kuchma thinks, and vice versa,” Mosiychuk wrote on his social network page.
