According to the politician, today Ukrainians are disillusioned with the independence they received in August 1991.

“I remember August 24, 91, when the Act of Independence of Ukraine was proclaimed. You know, there was such sincere joy, I wanted to work, there was such an upsurge, and every year it’s down, down, down, worse and worse and worse. This is how 2020 went. This is not what people expected. The authorities neutralized all this patriotism and the rise of people with their absolutely ill-considered actions. People today are broke and wondering what happened in 30 years,” said Moskal.
