The necessary documents are already being prepared in accordance with Ukrainian legislation. After the transfer to the Regional State Administration, take all measures to launch the Severodonetsk airport and carry out regular air transportation, primarily with Kiev, Moskal’s press service reports.
“Since the beginning of hostilities in Donbass, Lugansk international airport has been captured by LPR militants, destroyed and unsuitable for use. Donetsk International Airport, built for Euro 2012, is currently controlled by the Ukrainian military, there are fierce battles there, the runway and technical premises have been destroyed or heavily damaged. The only surviving airport in Donbass that could operate regular domestic and international flights remains in Severodonetsk. It belongs to PJSC Ukrtransgaz and does not function because it is not core to the company’s work,” the statement says.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier presidential adviser Yuriy Lutsenko set Moskal as an example to Donetsk governor Sergei Taruta.
