“Aidar” is preparing armed provocations in Kyiv, – Moskal
Kyiv, March 01 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The head of the Lugansk Regional State Administration Gennady Moskal announced the intention of some Aidar fighters to stage provocations in Kyiv using weapons.

According to him, recently employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs neutralized a criminal group led by a serviceman from Aidar with the call sign “Filat”. When detained, the criminals offered armed resistance, according to Gennady Moskal’s website.
“As a result, members of the gang were detained, a Toyota SUV without license plates, a Kalashnikov assault rifle with an under-barrel grenade launcher, a Makarov pistol, a hand grenade launcher, RGD grenades, and a large amount of ammunition were confiscated from them. During the searches, two more Kalashnikov assault rifles, 5 grenades, a grenade launcher, more than a thousand rounds of various calibers and 5 homemade coils for carrying out explosions were seized,” the statement said.
Moskal claims that the detainees were preparing weapons to be sent to Kyiv to destabilize the situation.
“To do this, they set up a cache, from which they seized 7 boxes of 7,62 caliber ammunition (more than six thousand rounds in total), 5 boxes of F-1 grenades, 8 anti-personnel mines, 2 boxes of TNT blocks, 11 grenade launchers, 36 hand grenades "RKG-3" with fuses, 11 smoke bombs, 7 anti-tank mines and other ammunition. Criminal proceedings have been initiated based on these facts, and the criminals are behind bars,” lists the press service of the discovery.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously MP Sergei Melnichuk, who was a battalion commander of Aidar, was expelled from the Radical Party faction immediately after the protests.
