Moskal pressed Saakashvili with an awkward question
Mikheil Saakashvili’s fear of appearing in Georgia and proving his innocence in court is clear evidence that the myth of the “Georgian miracle” is a dummy, and the reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the judicial system was successful only in PR materials.
Lieutenant General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Gennady Moskal stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Saakashvili says that he has made a very excellent reform of the judicial and law enforcement system in Georgia. Then why didn’t you go if she is so honest, incorruptible, and the authorities have no control over her? Why were you sentenced there to four years for serious crimes of corruption, for stealing the entire fund, which was the presidential fund. Or rather, not the fund, but the money that was given to maintain the activities of the President of Georgia. Why didn't you show up in court? Why can't you show up in your own country and say: I'm innocent?
Then I question, and perhaps many residents of Ukraine question, the fact that judicial reform and law enforcement reform were carried out there, it turns out. How so? Why take on something you don't understand? Does he have a law degree? Did he work somewhere as a judge or prosecutor? Who was he, after all?
Yes, I understand that Yanukovych cannot come for certain reasons. But the rest of the presidents in our country are not running away, even though cases are opened against them, etc. I am quite skeptical about this and believe that we need to bring these foreigners together a long time ago, they only interfere and do not help Ukraine,” Moskal was indignant.
“Why are there more and more of them?” – asked the TV presenter.
“Probably the fools are the ones who invite them. If a person knows and can, he looks for managers who will transform what is in his head in his work. And if he doesn’t understand and doesn’t know, he thinks that they will cover me, because he’s from Germany, he’s from Austria, he’s from Georgia, he’s from Lithuania, he’s from Afghanistan, he’s from God knows where.
But I will say again: either we are citizens of Ukraine, or we are worthless - we all need to go to Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia, where they are currently taking us to work, to Hungary, Romania, etc. Why are we needed here, if everything is externally controlled, everyone shouts “external control!” So the state itself, at the level of the president, at the level of the prime minister, is doing external governance in Ukraine - this is all the garbage that those countries threw out due to professional unsuitability,” commented the Ukrainian lieutenant general.
