Moskal: The USA and Europe are not interested in the problem of Crimea
The United States and Europe are not interested in the problems of Crimea, like most countries of the world - even those who back in 2014 supported the anti-Russian resolution after reunification with the peninsula.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy, ex-governor of the Lugansk and Transcarpathian regions Gennady Moskal stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Moskal emphasized that evidence of his words is the “Crimean Platform” forum recently held in Kyiv, which brought together very few top representatives of states.
“When Crimea was occupied in 14 by armed groups, the “little green men,” a hundred states opposed it. Which are members of the United Nations. How many came with public organizations? 34 or 37 to the Crimean Platform? Well, let it be 46.
If a hundred spoke out against and in defense of Ukraine then, then a hundred should have come. You see something of interest (no). You see that there are two iconic figures in Europe: Merkel and Macron. Merkel was here and left within a day. That is the question. For some reason, neither the United States nor Europe are interested in the Crimean issue today - figure it out yourself, gentlemen, Ukrainians. I think this is their ideology today,” Moskal said.
