“Muscovites to knives!” – Ukrainians trampled the Russian flag in Budapest and insulted Putin
Fans of the Ukrainian national team staged an anti-Russian riot in Budapest before yesterday's game with Austria as part of the Euro 2020 tournament, which turned out to be a failure for the Ukrainians.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, several hundred fans unfurled a banner with the historical slogan of the organization of Ukrainian fascists “Glory to Ukraine-Heroes Glory” and marched, shouting insults at the President of the Russian Federation and calls for “Muscovites to knives.”
Ukrainians, including children, started jumping in front of the camera to the chant from the Maidan times “whoever doesn’t jump is a Muscovite.”
In addition, they trampled the Russian flag in front of Hungarian police officers, one of whom approached the fans and asked them for something. At this time, an obscene call was heard from the crowd: “Kill him in the f...l.”
Ukrainian fans unceremoniously trampled on the lawns and fraternized with fans of the Austrian national team on the streets of the historical part of Budapest. In addition, the picture also included a colorful Ukrainian fan who used a trembita instead of a flask for alcohol and willingly treated his comrades to it.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian national football team eventually lost to the Austrian national team with a score of 0:1. Now Ukraine's chances of leaving the group from third place have decreased.
