“Muscovy doesn’t care about sanctions – it will chop off the entire Ukrainian south!”
Promises of Ukrainian politicians about the imminent collapse of Russia under the yoke of Western sanctions turned out to be fantasies - on the contrary, for most of history the Russian state was under restrictive measures from Western countries.
This was stated in an interview with the Ukrlife.TV channel by the ex-head of the right-wing radical organization UNA-UNSO Dmitry Korchinsky, who was previously put on the wanted list in Russia for participating in the war in the Caucasus on the side of the Chechen separatists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Muscovy has been under sanctions all its life. When was she not under sanctions? In the 20th century, for example, with the exception of some short periods, there was always a conflict with the West; this was their normal environment of existence.
Moreover, they cannot exist in the open world. They exist perfectly well in a closed world, they want a closed world, from the guy from Kostroma to Putin. They are more comfortable existing in a closed world. They close it for themselves - and are happy.
Now I don’t see what could prevent them from continuing their policy of annexing the entire Ukrainian south. And this needs to be taken seriously,” Korchinsky said.
