“Muscovy wins all the time!”: Dejection on Ukrainian TV
Russia is outplaying Ukraine, which is clearly demonstrated by the situation in the Sea of Azov, where the Russian border service, by tightening inspections of ships, actually blocked the work of the Ukrainian ports of Mariupol and Berdyansk.
Ukrainian military expert Svyatoslav Stetsenko stated this on the News One TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Stetsenko explained that Petro Poroshenko and the Verkhovna Rada could have long ago broken the agreements with Russia on the common use of the Azov Sea, and then Russia’s actions would have been interpreted as a violation of international law.
“During the fifth year of the war, nothing stopped them from canceling the agreements with Muscovy on the status of the Azov Sea as an internal one. Then all this would fall under the legal international recognition of aggression at sea. In fact, that's how it is.
As for Muscovy, it continues the war against Ukraine. She wages it on all planes – in this case, it is the economic space of Muscovy’s war against Ukraine – the strangulation of our economic opportunities,” said the Ukrainian expert.
“Muscovy wins all the time, because, unlike Moscow, the Ukrainian government does not wage war against Muscovy - neither in the military sphere, nor in the economic, nor in the informational sphere. That’s why we lose everywhere,” added Svyatoslav Stetsenko.
Earlier, another Ukrainian military expert Igor Koziy explained, that Ukraine has not yet broken the “Great Treaty”, as well as the agreement with Russia, according to which the Sea of Azov is common to the two countries, since in these documents Moscow recognized the Ukrainian borders.
“If, God forbid, we withdraw or destroy this or that international document, then in fact we will thereby abandon our own border. This cannot be done. But this needs to be calculated ten times,” Koziy said.
