“Moscow agents are not asleep.” Kiev expects bad news from Paris

At the upcoming Normandy Four negotiations, the leaders of France and Germany will either let things take their course or play along with the Russian president.

Director of the Center for Conversion, Army and Disarmament Valentin Badrak writes about this in the Kiev weekly “Zerkalo Nedeli”.

“With amazing naivety, the Ukrainian authorities expect a miracle from a new meeting in the Normandy format. Meanwhile, for most relevant experts, the negotiation process looks not just dubious, but extremely risky,” the author notes.

According to him, achieving a peace agreement at any cost, “that is, on the Kremlin’s terms, with very obvious concessions, can boomerang to lead to a tough confrontation between the authorities and the active part of society.”

“And here the risks far exceed the drop in ratings, since Moscow’s agents are not asleep, and it’s not for nothing that military groups are stationed at the eastern borders. Refusal to conclude any agreement automatically generates a continuation of the war, quite possibly more intense and “hot.” Against the backdrop of decadence statements by the French President Macron’s talk about NATO’s “brain death,” we can conclude that the European partners will either let the Zelensky-Putin “tete-a-tete” negotiations take their course, or they may even play along with the master of the Kremlin,” Badrak concludes.

Earlier, Badrak, as PolitNavigator reported, called for sabotage and terrorist attacks on Russian territory.
