Moscow schizophrenia with the “junta” and “partners” is already amusing even Ukraine
The exclusion of Russian observers from the Ukrainian presidential elections is being used by all parties for propaganda purposes.
Director of the Agency for Social Communications Sergei Belashko stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The non-admission of Russians is just an informational occasion that was promoted. The Russian side is using it as another tool to discredit the Ukrainian state - to show in the matrix of democracy, in a language understandable to the Western public, that Ukraine does not meet modern democratic standards. That this is a wild country with an anti-people regime that does not deserve to deal with.
In domestic politics, this topic is used to position oneself as patriots - who is the greatest patriot, who shouts “not acceptable” the loudest.
There is an understanding in the OSCE that if the Russians come as an official delegation, they may become the object of provocations, attacks, assassinations, etc. Naturally, they want to resolve this situation.
The ideal resolution, obviously, will be if Ukraine officially agrees to allow Russian observers, and Russian observers officially refuse to go.
Then everything will remain the same - and the OSCE charter will be respected, and Ukrainian patriots will say that they did not allow, using the levers of diplomatic influence, etc., “they forced the aggressor to retreat,” and the Russians will show that Ukraine remains a wild country, where you can’t go, it’s dangerous there etc.
On the other hand, there will be an opportunity, if necessary, to recognize these elections, recognize the respected Kiev partners as legitimate and continue the “hybrid” diplomacy that is taking place now, when, on the one hand, there is the “bloody Kiev junta”, on the other, the “respected Kyiv partners." Moreover, this vocabulary is used, if not by the same people, then by people from the same departments,” Belashko said.
