The Moscow parade made the Moldovan deputy sad about the USSR and prostitutes
Member of the Moldovan Parliament Bogdan Tidrea is proud that Moldovan soldiers took part in the Victory Parade in Moscow.
He wrote about this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For a couple of hours, we felt like we were part of the Great Country. A country that defeated fascism, conquered space, had 2 GDPs in the world, and occupied leading positions in science, sports, and culture. We were part of a Great Power, to which the whole world looked with hope.
Today we are known as exporters of guest workers, prostitutes, and sex tourism. And they stole 1 billion from us. Did I miss something?” Tsydrya wrote.
A different reaction was voiced today by the opposition pro-Western Moldovan MP Adrian Candu. He called the delegation's trip from Chisinau to the parade in Moscow a betrayal.
“I don’t see patriotism in Dodon’s action of going to the parade, it’s rather a betrayal of the Motherland,” Candu said during a live broadcast on Facebook.
