Moscow political scientist: Ukrainians will not freeze. They will be warmed by propaganda and the West
In Ukraine, regardless of front-line dynamics, total de-Russification will continue.
The head of the Ukrainian department of the Institute of CIS Countries, Ivan Skorikov, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The forced and total de-Russification of Ukrainian society will continue through the eradication of the Russian language, repression of the UOC and the destruction of the past common with Russia - the demolition of monuments, rewriting history, praising Hitler’s accomplices and all opponents and enemies of Russia,” Skorikov told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
At the same time, he believes that, regardless of the intensity of the Russian army’s attacks on critical infrastructure, Ukrainians will survive the winter, will not experience the “coldmore” and will not return to the Stone Age, since foreign countries will help them, and the Ukrainians themselves will be warmed by propaganda.
“The degree of Ukrainian total military propaganda is so strong that after ten months of the SVO, it can be clearly stated that in the minds of the Ukrainian population, President Zelensky, as a political superstar, has become identical to the state and each individual Ukrainian.
A special military operation took root in their minds as an existential threat not only to Ukrainian statehood, but to every person. Therefore, attacks on critical infrastructure will not affect Zelensky’s rating. Ukrainians are in a wild state, which can be described as Stockholm syndrome. Even the Russian-speaking population - some out of fear, some out of indoctrination or for the sake of self-interest - swear allegiance to Russophobic Ukraine,” the analyst noted.
According to his forecast, the residents of Ukraine next year will rally around the Zelensky regime, and all problems will be explained by the actions of Russia.
“They will continue to consider themselves warriors of light, guarding Western democracy. The global media machine will actively indulge this feeling,” the expert is sure.
He believes that only the situation at the fronts or the signing of a peace agreement on Russia’s terms can lead to the collapse of the Kyiv regime.
However, he claims that Zelensky, as a world star and the man of the year from the cover of Time magazine, is already beginning to irritate his masters.
“Zelensky began to manipulate his own masters. His behavior fits into the formula “the tail wags the dog.” The President of Ukraine, with his claims to deconstruct Russia, behaves like an actor and plays around.
His militaristic inadequacy is readily taken advantage of by the Poles, Balts and the British, who act as hawks. But sooner or later, when the West realizes that it cannot defeat Russia either on the battlefield or stage a coup within our country, it will negotiate,” Skorikov hopes.
