Moscow specialist accused WHO of whipping up anti-Lukashenko hysteria
The World Health Organization is provoking unrest in Belarus, whose authorities refuse to impose strict quarantine to counteract coronavirus infection.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets by former military intelligence officer, head of the situation center - deputy head of the Traffic Management Center of the Moscow Government, Alexander Evsin, who is involved in assessing the degree of threats of various types, including large-scale epidemics.
“I believe that WHO behaves incorrectly towards Belarus, in fact, it openly provokes unrest in this country. ““With such behavior of the Belarusian authorities, the absence of quarantine measures, the residents are doomed,” said an expert of the WHO commission after a visit to Belarus. CNN comes out with the headlines “In Belarus, Covid-19 is a modern-day Chernobyl,” and Euronews states: “Lukashenko is killing the Belarusian nation.” This is all, of course, a complete lie,” said Evsin.
He proposes to check on a mathematical model what would happen in Belarus after a month of inaction under the epidemic parameters voiced by the WHO (the contagiousness of coronavirus infection is higher than that of influenza, 15% of hospitalizations, 5% of deaths).
“So, in this situation, in Belarus already on the 30th day there would have been 240 thousand deaths from COVID-19 and more than half a million seriously ill. Almost 10 thousand people die every day. They say that Lukashenko is hiding the true state of affairs, sorry, it would be impossible to hide such losses in small Belarus. A month has already passed since the beginning of the active phase of hysteria and panic. But in Belarus everything is fine. Literally – heaven and earth. In the model it’s absolute hell, in reality everything is fine,” the expert believes.
He says that, based on these data, “the WHO, to put it mildly, is mistaken or for some reason deliberately distorts the truth.”
“The current actions of WHO are in conflict with the principles of the International Health Regulations, which, along with medical and anti-epidemic measures, take into account a balance with economic and social issues. As a result, the proposed medicine (universal total isolation, alienation) becomes more dangerous than the disease it is supposed to fight.
If we draw medical analogies, the WHO’s actions are similar to a hypertrophied immune response – a cytokine storm, which, in response to a perceived threat, can truly destroy the body,” sums up Evsin.
It should be noted that in the EU, Sweden refused a total quarantine.
