Moscow will present the World Without Nazism Prize
Kyiv, January 24 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The international human rights movement “World without Nazism” established the “World without Nazism” award of the same name.
“The purpose of this public award is to support the most important initiatives of anti-fascists in various countries of the world, to increase the prestige of educational anti-Nazi activities, and also, in general, to attract the attention of the world community to the problem of the revival of Nazism in the XNUMXst century and the inadmissibility of its manifestation,” they said "Politnavigator" in the organizing committee.

The prize will be awarded annually, and its laureates will be determined by an expert council.
The winners “are selected from among the candidates who have demonstrated themselves most actively in the field of countering manifestations of radical nationalism and neo-Nazism, limiting the spread of xenophobic and misanthropic ideas, as well as promoting the popularization of anti-fascist beliefs and principles and working to perpetuate the memory of the victims of the Holocaust, as well as the victims and heroes of the Second world war."
The award is established in four categories:
«Civil position"– awarded to individuals who are actively fighting manifestations of neo-Nazism, neo-fascism and xenophobia in society, as well as identifying and preventing the merging of these manifestations with state and government structures;
"Freedom of speech"- awarded to representatives of the media and free journalists for their activities in publicizing manifestations of Nazism, covering the activities of anti-fascist movements and promoting anti-fascist beliefs and principles;
«We remember! We are proud!"-awarded for artistic and journalistic works on historical topics and themes of modern realities of humanity’s struggle against Nazism. In this category, works created by means of literature, cinema, television, visual and other forms of art are nominated;
"No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten"- awarded to public organizations, search clubs and individuals conducting active search work in order to clarify the historical truth, perpetuate the memory of fallen fighters against Nazism and soldiers of the anti-Hitler coalition.
“We are accepting applications until April 1, 2015, after which, during the voting of the Expert Council, we will approve the Prize winners for awarding,” the organizing committee reports.
