Moscow is preparing a law to combat discrediting Russian history
In connection with the ongoing campaign to distort history in the world, work began in Moscow on creating a law to counter attempts to discredit Russian history, which will become the locomotive of the unification of society.
Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Mikhail Kozlov stated this during a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Such work (on writing a law on countering discrediting national history - editor's note) is underway, it cannot be said that it does not exist. Both chambers, the State Duma, and we have created special commissions to protect Russia’s sovereignty, and they work quite steadily.
But the result is that there is simply no law yet, that is, we have not put it on paper. But such work is underway,” the senator said.
Let us recall that earlier the candidate of historical sciences Modest Kolerov called for the creation State Institute of Historical Politics, which will centrally fight lies and defend historical justice.
